What is post-weight loss contouring
Post-weight loss body contouring is a series of cosmetic surgical procedures designed to remove excess skin and reshape the body after significant weight loss. These procedures help improve the appearance and contour of areas such as the abdomen, thighs, arms, and breasts, which may have loose or sagging skin due to weight loss.
Is this surgery for me?
This surgery may be suitable if you have achieved significant weight loss, maintain a stable weight, and are in good overall health. Ideal candidates have realistic expectations and seek to improve body contours by removing excess skin and fat.

During the procedure
During the procedure, anaesthesia is administered for comfort. Incisions are made in the areas to be treated and excess skin and fat is removed. Common procedures include a tummy tuck, thigh lift, arm lift, and breast lift. The remaining skin is repositioned and tightened for a smoother contour. The procedure can be done in stages or combined, depending on the extent of the work needed.

-
Avoid Strenuous Activity: Refrain from heavy lifting and vigorous exercise for 4 weeks
-
Medication: Take prescribed pain relievers and antibiotics as directed
