During the procedure

During a neck lift, anesthesia is administered for comfort. The surgeon makes small incisions typically behind the ears and sometimes under the chin. Through these incisions, excess fat is removed or repositioned, and the underlying muscles are tightened. In some cases small parts of deeper muscle and gland needs to be removed for an optimal result. Excess skin is then trimmed and the remaining skin is redraped for a smoother, more defined neck and jawline. The incisions are closed with sutures.

After a Neck Lift

Rest and Elevation: Keep your head elevated to reduce swelling.
Cold Compresses: Use ice packs for the first 48 hours.
Avoid Straining: Limit reading, TV, and screen time.
Cleanliness: Keep the incision area clean and dry.
No Heavy Lifting: Avoid strenuous activities for two weeks.
Post-operative Garment: is provided especially in concomitant neck lift to support the neck
Sutures: Removed after 7 to 10 days
